A new school year is here, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our Cougar families back to Geneva Heights!  Whether this is your very first year at GHE or you’ve been part of our community for years, we’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait for all the fun, connection, and school spirit ahead.

Our PTA is all about bringing families together, supporting our teachers and students, and making GHE an even more special place for our Cougars. There’s a place for everyone, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Grab your blankets and bring the whole family for an evening of food, friends, and Cougar fun! Join us on August 28 from 5:00–7:00 PM for our PTA-sponsored Back-to-School Picnic—a great chance to catch up with old friends, meet new families, and celebrate the start of another fantastic year at GHE!

Our awesome Dads Club will be firing up the grill and cooking dinner, and the Kona Ice truck will be there with cool treats available for purchase—perfect for beating that August heat! 🍧

We can’t wait to see our Cougar community together again. Bring a blanket, bring your appetite, and come hang out with us! 💙🐾

About FOL Sports Athleader Program: We extend your child's day with motion, fitness and fun. This Lakewood dad run program will engage your child to build strength and confidence each day. FOL Sports after school runs every DISD school day until the end of the school year from the dismissal bell until 6:00 pm. Full week and partial week tuitions are available with a 10% discount offered for full year tuition payment.

✨ Important: VOLY registration must be renewed every school year and expires on June 30 annually—even if you’ve volunteered with us before!

And don’t forget to check VOLY throughout the school year for new volunteer opportunities! It’s a great way to see where an extra set of Cougar paws is needed and find ways to get involved that work with your schedule.

Get ready to show your Cougar pride under the Friday night lights! Join us on Friday, September 11 for the Woodrow Wilson High School Feeder Pattern Football Game and a special night for our GHE students!

Before the varsity team takes the field, our GHE Cougars will join students from across the Woodrow feeder pattern on the field and run across together to help kick off the game. And the fun doesn’t stop there—GHE students will also perform alongside the cheerleaders during halftime! 📣

Come out, wear your GHE gear, cheer on our WWHS Wildcats, and celebrate being part of the Woodrow community. We can’t wait to see our Cougars shine under the lights! 🏈🐾
