Volunteering is one of the best ways to support our school, build community, and make a difference for our kids. 🤍

DISD requires all campus volunteers to be cleared through Volyso if you’d like to help on campus in any way, please complete the Voly process first.

If you’re interested in helping with PTA events, fill out the Volunteer Interest Form so we can connect with you when opportunities come up. We’d love to have you join in!

Get Involved with the GH Dads Club!

The Dads Club kicked off the school year, brainstorming ways to support students, including mentoring, tutoring, and the new morning drop-off volunteer effort.

Join the Morning Drop-Off Crew!
From 7:30 to 8:00 AM on Goodwin Ave., volunteers help students out of cars, open doors, and keep traffic moving safely. All volunteers apply and are vetted through Voly, and anyone registered can join — not just dads. It’s a fun and easy way to make a difference in our students’ mornings and support the school community.

We’re also focusing on outreach to include even more dads in school life. Want to get involved? Sign up today!

What is Peace Pantry: Operating out of Geneva Heights Elementary School, our Peace Pantry is a free, accessible food station that serves students and families in our school community. The Peace Pantry distributes shelf-stable groceries to those who need it most. No paperwork. No judgement. Just dignity, nourishment, and community care.

How can I access assistance: Intake forms have been sent home with all families. If you didn't complete a form or if your situation changes, talk to Ms. Robinson.

How can I help to provide assistance: This program is only possible through the generosity of our community. You can:

  • Shop our wishlist here to stock the pantry. Please ship directly to the school.
  • Donate to the PTA directly here for North Texas Giving Day or here throughout the year.

Come to the Fill the Truck event on September 19th from 12-6 PM at 6248 Mockingbird Drive.

This annual event helps to stock Peace Pantries across the Woodrow Wilson feeder network. Please bring shelf-stable food and financial donations. Every dollar raised will go directly to Peace Pantries in our community.

Ask your employer or other local businesses to consider sponsoring the Fill the Truck event - email karen.cuskey@cbdfw.com or nancywilson@cbdfw.com to be a sponsor.

New Parent Resource Guide

This guide was created by parents, for parents with the goal of helping you navigate the school year by sharing helpful tips and insights from our own experiences in this amazing community. Please keep in mind that some information may change throughout the year, as this resource is parent-produced and not an official school publication.

It's Time To Show Your Cougar Pride!

We're excited to kick off the Geneva Heights PTA’s major fundraiser – Cougar Pride Partners. Cougar Pride Partners provides an easy way for every Geneva Heights family, friend or supporter to help fund many of the school year needs and student activities through one donation. This is an essential part of ensuring our school gives the best educational experience for our kids.

Here are just a few ways your investment impacts our Cougar Community:

  • Fuels real-world learning experiences with more field trips

  • Nurtures social emotional growth with resources to build more dedicated spaces

  • Equips our Cougar Innovators with more tech and access

  • Inspires creativity with improved financial and equitable access for afterschool programs in music, arts, and STEM

  • Opens new worlds with increased access to books for every child

  • Grows knowledge with hands-on curriculum learning in our school garden

  • Supports the heart of our classrooms, i.e. our teachers, providing financial support so they don’t spend their own money to turn classroom environments into enriching learning environments for our children.
